Awkwafina
Awkwafina was initially a American rapper and singer, performing sly tunes that dealt with questions of race and sexual identities with a funny twist. Before expanding into Hollywood her career, she could release a number of songs. Nora Lum is the daughter of Chinese and Korean parents who hail from Forest Hills Queens. The trumpet was the first instrument she played for her. Her classical, jazz and hip-hop education began when she was a teenager. Concentrating on school she studied journalism as well as women's studies, and was learning Mandarin in Beijing for a time. The focus on music until she graduated. The track My Vag which was her reaction to Mickey Avalon's My Dick, became a huge hit across the Internet and was later featured on her debut LP Yellow Ranger. The album also featured viral hit tracks like body positive Queef and a wink-y home tour NYC Bitche$1. The latter track connected directly to another project, Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide, which was published in 2015. In addition to having published a book and a singer, she was also a professional singing. Her film credits include films such as Neighbors 2, Storks as well as Bad Rap. In 2018 she was able to land breakthrough roles in a handful of high-profile films such as Dude Ocean's 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. She released the EP, in Fina We Trust in June of the year.
